About

At the age of five I had narrowed my list of what I wanted to be when I grew up to priest, firefighter or artist.

That same year I decided on artist. I think I liked the idea of painting.

It wasn’t until the sixth grade that I discovered photography thanks to my science teacher, Sr. Frances.

All of my teachers from middle school through high school were supportive in allowing me to bring my camera to class and take photos (as long as I wasn’t a disruption). I was very lucky.

From the very beginning of my photographic journey my main subjects have always been people.

As a professional photographer I specialized primarily in corporate photography. I had studios in the warehouse district of Minneapolis which is now the home of the Timberwolves Arena, Target Center and the Twins Stadium (also Target). Currently I do location work.

Parallel to my commercial work I pursued my own vision which included work with actors, dancers, models and other subjects.

Today I devote more time to my personal vision.
