A Cautious Attempt Back to Normalcy
2022 was the first time in two years the St. Patricks Day parade was held.
The last two years have been tough on street photographers. We have had to adapt to the impact of COVID 19 on our usual workspace – public spaces. Urban places were devoid of people. Lockdowns kept us from being in public. Restrictions everywhere made getting spontaneous photos difficult.
This year the parade started later in the day, reversed its route and the attendees were fewer than normal.
But, it felt the same in all its green splendor.
